Workforce Buffalo Downtown Career Center (WBDCC) - Center Operations Supervisor

This is a professional level position with responsibility for the overall management of day-to-day operations of the Buffalo and Erie County Workforce Development Consortium, Inc. — Workforce Buffalo Downtown Career Center. This includes the management responsibility for the Workforce Buffalo Downtown Career Center (WBDCC), all satellite sites and all programs and services associated with WBDCC. This position requires an extremely high level of interpersonal skills in order to interact with staff at all levels. Performs a variety of complex administrative duties for the overall administrative functions of the organization as well as manages all administrative staff offering guidance and training while delegating work tasks and handling time and distribution sheets. Ensures that day to day operations of the organization run smoothly.  Purchase of materials, equipment and supplies to operate the Center and customer self-help needs. Has direct authority of staff assigned to reception, initial data entry, swipe card data entry and cards, Help Desk staff, including Supportive Services and Youth work experience and participants, interns or other temporary staff as it relates to front-end services within the Center. Salary: $60,000 (annual).
